Annapurna is the 10th highest mountain in the world and was the first 8000m peak to be climbed. The Annapurna region is situated in middle north Nepal and is defined by the Kali Gandaki River to the west, the Marsyangdi and Dudh Khola valleys to the east, the Pokhara valley to the south, and the Himalaya foothills that run along the Nepal-Tibetan border to the north.

This tour will present the visitors with the opportunity to witness the enigma of Himalayan peaks of the Annapurna range such as Mr Dhaulagiri, Mt. Fishtail, among others. The sight of the Kaligandaki Gorge, the deepest gorge of the world, only adds to the scenic beauty this tour offers.

In Spring, it showcases many beautiful flowers including the national flower of Nepal Rhododendron. Orchids, Machhapuchhre massif, and the deepest gorge Kali Gandaki accompany you during the trek. You will spot high cascading waterfalls at times.

Experiencing the ethnic and cultural diversity of the people in this region especially Gurung people when visiting the Ghandruk museums you undertake the 3-week, 118 miles Annapurna Circuit. Described as the ideal choice for those with more time at hand, Our Annapurna Base Camp Trek has a long, 14-days itinerary which is recommended. This route is mostly recognized for the panoramic views of the Annapurna Himalayan Range. We walk for around 4-6 hours and stop by at lodge and continue trekking the next  day until reaching our destination.

Details

Day1: Arrival in Kathmandu
After you are picked up in the arrival hall by our representative, you will be briefed
about our company and given other general information. you will have time to rest
and settle into your comfortable hotel, but you’ll set a time for a full briefing. During
the dinner organized by our company, you can enjoy Nepalese cuisine which will
introduce us to the country’s food culture.

Day 10: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo

From Annapurna Base Camp our trail rapidly descends past the Machhapuchhre Base camp, Deurali, and Doban, and finally to Bamboo where we spend the night. Today’s trek is downhill so it shouldn’t be very difficult. Overnight in Bamboo.

Day 11: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda

As soon as you leave Bamboo you have to walk steep ascent for a while then flat up and down till upper Sinuwa village. Most of the walking trail is ups and downs and passes through the forest of bamboo, rhododendron, Oak, and hamlets. Jhinu danda “Totapani” is a natural hot spring. Bamboo to Jhinu danda is the lower part of the Annapurna base camp trek while returning you can explore the picturesque view of Fishtail, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli peaks. It takes 5 to 7 hours to reach Jhinu Danda from Bamboo depending on your walking speed and fitness level, we can spend the rest of the afternoon taking a rest and relaxing. Overnight in Jhinu Danda.

Day 12: Trek to Naya Pul then drive to Pokhara

We leave Jhinu Danda and enjoy the beautiful hill landscape of western Nepal on our way to Naya Pul. We have lunch on the way. The actual trek to the Annapurna Sanctuary and back ends. We board our vehicle to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 13: Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu

We fly to Kathmandu in the morning. After landing at the airport, we will be dropped off at our hotel in the city. We can spend the day taking the much-needed rest or catch up on some last-minute shopping.  Either way, we mark the end of our successful trip with a farewell dinner hosted by the company where we can share our experiences of the trek before flying back home the next day. Day 14: Final departure

Our trip to Nepal ends. You will be dropped off at the airport by a company representative 3 hours before the scheduled flight.

Day 02: Kathmandu: trip preparation

We visit company's office sometime in the afternoon. At the office, we meet our climbing guide and fellow climbers. Our guide or leader will check our set of equipment to make sure that they are in perfect condition for the coming trip. In the short meeting, the representatives will also help us understand what we can expect throughout the trip to make us familiar with our days up in the mountain. We can spend the rest of the afternoon resting and/or in leisure. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Fly to Pokhara and trek to Ulleri

We will have breakfast and fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu Aiport, As soon as we land in Pokhara you will feel the fresh breeze and spectacular view of the mountains which will encourage you to move forward to trek and witness the view. From Pokhara, we drive to Naya Pul and start the trek. We walk through a valley forest, cross the Burundi Khola (river) before reaching Tikhedhunga Village. The Ulleri Hill with thousands of steps and boulders that continually go upward will prove a test of our stamina. We reach Ulleri by late afternoon. Overnight in Ulleri.

Day 04: Ulleri to Ghorepani

After breakfast, we will ascend through stone stairs where we witness Annapurna South looms large, coming and going from view in the cloudy sky, waterfalls, tiny villages, and several tea-houses. Ghorepani is the gathering place for those who want to see the sunrise from Poon Hill, just above the village. the village has abundant wifi and a German bakery as well as a bookstore. We will reach Ghorepani (2874 meters/9429 feet) in the early afternoon. Overnight at Ghorepani.

Day 05: Ghorepani to Tadapani with a visit to Poon Hill

Offering epic Himalayan views, Poon Hill (3210m / 10,532 ft) is a popular destination for trekkers in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Most people arrive here in the early morning to discover eye-catching sunrise views in the Himalayas over Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massif.

The trek from Ghorepani to tadapani starts after Poon hill, the altitude of Tadapani Nepal is 2630 meters above sea level. On the way, you will pass through Deurali Danda 3090 m, the highest point in between these places, Ban Thanti, Thulo Odar, and Liu Kahrka. After enjoying a cup of coffee, we trek back to Ghorepani. We have breakfast here then walk towards the east and climb a ridge Our trail descends through rhododendron forests and waterfalls before we reach Tadapani. Overnight in Tadapani.

Day 06: Tadapani to Chhomrong

 Tadapani to Chhomrong trek distance is 7.6 kilometres / 4.7 miles is a remarkable part of this journey.

 It takes 5 to 6 hours to reach the elevation of Chomrong from Tadapani exploring Chile, Kimrong Khola, Ghurjung, Taulung villages. The journey is amazingly rewarded with the soothing view of forests laden with Rhododendron flower, the national flower of Nepal. Excellent tea houses facility is available on Tadapani to Chhomrong distance as well as most of the Annapurna region trekking trails in Nepal.

A few more miles of uphill and downhill trekking and we reach our destination. Overnight in Chhomrong.

Day 07: Chhomrong to Bamboo

We leave Chhomrong and walk on quite several stone steps before reaching the Chhomrong Khola. We cross a suspension bridge over the river and begin an uphill climb to Sinuwa. Our trail passes through a beautiful forest to Kuldihar. From here we embark on an easy descent to Bamboo. Overnight in Bamboo.

Day 08: Bamboo to Deurali

It’s just five hours walking slowly to Deurali. The first part, through the bamboo forest, is damp and cold

It is a steep climb up through a much drier forest before reaching Hinku Cave. Here, we can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding hills and Mt. Dhaulagiri. The vegetation is more sparse, allowing magical views of the valley, the river below, and the sheer rock face cliffs above with bands of wispy waterfalls. We pass several tributaries over log and grass bridges.

Day 09: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp via Machhapuchhre Base Camp

 We will reach Base Camp, the elevation of which is 4200m. The trek from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp is somewhat strenuous. From Machhapuchhre Base Camp we get excellent views of the majestic Machhapuchhre. The Sanctuary boasts of a dynamic view without anything impeding the 360-degree panorama. From Base Camp, we again get to savor mesmerizing views of the Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, and other peaks. Overnight at Annapurna Base Camp. Included meals
